Established in 1972 by surveyor Brian Hunt, Statewest Surveying and Planning has a long history in surveying and town planning consultancy. Gaining qualifications in urban and regional planning from W.A.I.T, now known as Curtin University, Brian opened the scope from which the company could work. Joined by surveyor Ron Rogers in 1984 the company name changed to Hunt & Rogers Pty Ltd. With continual growth, another name change in 1997 took the company to Statewest Surveying and Planning and along with it came associates Paul Incerti, Les Smith and Simon O’Hara with Brian Hunt and Ron Rogers remaining as Directors.

The team behind Statewest Surveying and Planning are both professional and considerate when dealing with all their projects and clients. Known for its responsive and practical approach regardless of project they are experienced at working with such developments as town planning, surveying, engineering survey, strata survey, feature/contour survey, boundary re-establishment survey and volume survey size. Statewest Surveying and Planning has built a strong reputation in producing quality service. All clientele have direct access to experienced staff because although Statewest Surveying and Planning remain large enough to handle major projects they are still small enough to ensure a one-on-one relationship.

Brian Hunt/Director: LS, MISA, Grad.Dip (URO), Affiliate MPIA
As the original founder of the company, Brian is a Licensed Surveyor and qualified Town and Regional Planner, having obtained his surveying licence in 1966 and his Graduate Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning in 1982. With significant experience in consultancy for land and property development, Brian has worked with regional planning issues as a member of the Swan Valley Planning Committee and was once a councillor with the Shire of Mundaring. Having represented clients in appeals to the Minister for Planning and the Town Planning Tribunal and been an advocate on planning matters with local authorities and state government agencies, three decades has seen Brian fulfil several achievements in the industry.

Ron Rogers/Director: LS, MISA
A licensed surveyor and registered Grade 2 Mine Surveyor, Ron has worked on numerous hill subdivisions starting at two to over 100 lots. Creating strata title surveys and subdivision in both sewered and unsewered areas as well as general and specific project advice and assistance until completion, Ron has formed a well-known reputation for quick problem solving and excavation and mining applications.

Paul Incerti/Associate: LS, MISA
Having joined Statewest Surveying and Planning in 1987, Paul previously worked in strata title survey and subdivision, engineering, constructed, mine and volume, feature and boundary re-establishment surveying as well as several other surveying trades. Paul brings a vast amount of knowledge and skill to Statewest Surveying and Planning and remains an invaluable asset to the company.

Pandora Heydenrych: B Sc (TRP), MPIA, MRTP1, Mun. Plan. Cert
Pandora is a qualified Town and Regional Planner with over two decades experience in local government planning, land and property development, project management and planning consultancy. Spending over five years as manager of Town Planning Services with a leading property development group, Pandora then went on to become a Project Manager for the same company. Before beginning at Statewest Surveying and Planning Pandora spent five years gaining further planning experience with the local government of Kalamunda.

Simon O’Hara: BA (URS), Grad. Dip. (URP), MTPC, MPIA, Mun. Plan. Cert
As a qualified Town and Regional Planner, Simon has both planning consultancy experience and extensive local government planning experience. Working as Deputy Principle Planner with the Shire of Mundaring for eight years, Simon then went on to gain experience with the local governments of Gosnells, Bayswater and Wanneroo. Building on several years of town and regional planning experience, Simon adds to the vast array of skills Statewest Surveying and Planning holds.

Les Smith (Associate) Surveying Cert, MIEMS –
Having been with Statewest Surveying and Planning since 1986, Les specialises in engineering surveying and digital drafting. Working with engineering surveying, including roads, building and as cons, Les has also incorporated digital drafting of subdivision applications, rezoning documentation and contour surveys as well as deals with the several other aspects the company specialises in.
